Stamp With Us Recipe Challenge

For the Stamp With Us Recipe Challenge this week you are asked to use:

1 Patterned Paper
1 Flower
1 Button
2 Ribbons

I've used the Holiday Treasures designer series paper for the background and cut and decoupaged the flower from this series paper too and added the button to the centre. The ribbons used are Always Artichoke and Certainly Celery. Also used the round tab with a rub on greeting and stamp from the Yummy set. The whisper white centre embossed with cuttlebug swiss dots folder.

Wow, how chuffed and surprised am I to find I've made the Fave Five for last week's Stamp With Us Challenge. Thank you all at Stamp With Us for picking my card. I've even managed to put the blinkie on my blog, had to go right back to the start of the Stamp With Us blog to find the instructions for their blinkie, which didn't work for me before but now added that one too.

Stamp With Us Colour Challenge

The Stamp With Us challenge this week is a colour challenge to use red, yellow, blue and green. The Junior Varsity Designer Papers were perfect for this challenge as it has all of the four colours and this was used for the background and to stamp the balloon from the Crazy for Cupcakes stamp set in different colours. Also used the oval stamp set and punches and old olive ribbon. The balloons were stamped on to whisper white card and then embossed with the Cuttlebug Happy Birthday folder.

Dinosaurs

A friend asked me to do a Dinosaur card for her grandson, so I decided to do the 3D style card similar to the previous princess castle, only smaller, using the Paper Dolls Cricut Cartridge and a Quickutz die. There are dinosaurs hidden in the back amongst the trees but they don't show up to well in the photo.

Sleeping Beauty Castle

I made this card for my grand daughter's 5th birthday using the Disney Dreams Come True and Paper Dolls Cricut Cartridges. I don't know what the style of card is called but it folds in layers and stands 10.5 inches tall. The Castle and extra turrets are cut from the Paper Dolls Cricut. As you can probably guess, my grand daughter loves the Disney Princesses, so she now displays this in her bedroom as all the wording was done on the trumpet type scroll, also from the cartridge, on the back of the card, so it doesn't actually look like a birthday card. Took me ages to do, but I was really pleased with the finished result and have just been asked to another one!
