Stamp With Us Colour Challenge
The Stamp With Us challenge this week is a colour challenge, shades of blues and greens and turquoise. Haven't yet worked out how to post their sample picture, but check out the Stamp with us blog - www.stampwithus.blogspot.com for all the great samples from the DT and entries to the challenges. I've based the idea for my card on the sample on page 80 of the new Stampin up catalogue, used this design a lot lately especially for children's cards.
Made the background by chalking with various shades of green and blue and stamped and embossed in white the snowflake from the Winter Post set, words from Season of Joy.
Card stock used is Not Quite Navy and Sage Shadow and Night of Navy ribbon. Also used scalloped punch and oval punches.

Basic Grey Sketch Challenge
Loved the sketch on the current Basic Grey challenge and have made quite a few cards using the design but as this is the only one with Basic Grey paper have entered this into the challenge. The paper used is an older collection, Sweatpea Alyssa that I've had for quite some time but really like.
Main stamp image is from Magenta, words and oval punched shapes are Stampin up.

Papertake Weekly Challenge Sketch
Just got these great new Inkadinkado filigree stamps and wanted to try them out on this week's Papertake Weekly Challenge sketch. Reversed the sketch though as the snowman image didn't look right on the left side. Quite like the colours and the way it's turned out but would use white embossing powder next time. Papers used are some old Sandylion winter paper I've had for sometime and trying to use up some of my old stuff.

Christmas Ornaments
Stampwithus Challenge – Anything but a card
I knew I would be rubbish at blogging when I first started my blog and it’s exactly 3 months since I last made an entry. Now decided it’s time to do some more challenges so starting with the one from Stampwithus. This week the challenge is anything but a card and I’ve got some samples that fit the challenge perfectly. I’ve been trying to put together some craft activities I may be doing at a Charity function later in the year my daughter is organising through her business Musical Hands, the sing, dance and sign classes she runs for young children. (If anyone that may see this blog has babies or preschool children and lives in the Crawley or surrounding area, and may be interested in the classes run by Musical Hands, please check out the website, www.musicalhands.co.uk)
I thought these Christmas Ornaments would be one of the activities I could do in a workshop possibly with older children, as well as cards and gift tags.
Supplies used from Stampin up:
More Mustard, Ruby Red and Garden Green Cardstock
More Mustard and White Ribbon
Season of Joy stamp set
Oval punch (used to make the star)
Scallop circle punch and circle punches
